Description

This is my 3rd serious attempt at this target over the last couple of years.

Took around 30 hours of SHO over 4 nights and a little RGB, but here is just the SHO of around 28 hours; so one of my longer integrations.

Took advantage of my Nightcrawler focuser/rotator for a change to get the exact composition I wanted with dragons diagonal and "the egg" lower right (as opposed to just pointing and trusting my luck).

I'm more happy with the outcome this time, but perhaps as much down to changes in my processing than anything...aiming for a smoother result. stacked and processed in APP and also in Startools and combined results in PS before using start-exterminator to create a star free layer for post-processing (contrast, noise reduction, sharpening, colour balance and saturation) and a stars only layer for adding back in after adjusting the nebula.

Seeing wasn't great most nights so fine detail not as good as it could be, but something to strive for in future mark 4 attempt :-)
